Jonathan Majors
Jonathan Michael Majors, born on September 7, 1989, is a talented American actor recognized for his compelling performances across film and television. A distinguished alumnus of the Yale School of Drama, Majors gained significant attention for his roles in the critically acclaimed films *The Last Black Man in San Francisco* (2019) and *Da 5 Bloods* (2020). His portrayal of Atticus Turner in HBO's *Lovecraft Country* (2020) earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination, further cementing his place in the industry.
In subsequent years, Majors showcased his versatility by taking on diverse roles, including Nat Love in the western *The Harder They Fall* (2021), and Jesse L. Brown, the first African American naval aviator, in the war drama *Devotion* (2022). He also stepped into the role of the formidable antagonist Dame Anderson in *Creed III* (2023). Additionally, Majors made a significant impact in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Kang the Conqueror in *Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania* (2023) and portrayed various iterations of the character in the Disney+ series *Loki* (2021–2023).
However, in March 2023, Majors faced legal troubles following an arrest for domestic assault against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In December of the same year, he was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment, leading to the loss of multiple film roles and his future in the MCU. He is currently engaged in a year-long in-person domestic violence intervention program.
