Karen Summer, born on July 22, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, is a multifaceted entertainer known for her impactful contributions to the adult film industry. Growing up as an only child in Tarzana and Encino, Summer initially navigated her way through show business by taking on various roles, including extra work, photo double, and stand-in, notably as a production assistant on the popular television series The Dukes of Hazzard (1979) for three years.

Her foray into the adult entertainment sector began serendipitously when she met casting director Jim South, leading to her debut as a nude model and subsequently in hardcore films at the young age of twenty in 1982. Throughout the 1980s, Summer collaborated with prominent directors such as Larry Revene, John Stagliano, and Kirdy Stevens, the latter being her favorite, and became a recognizable name in adult cinema.

After stepping away from adult films in the 1990s, she transitioned to feature dancing and burlesque before moving to Florida, marrying, and eventually working as a paralegal. After a divorce in 2000, she shifted her focus to healthcare.
