Adolfo Quinones

Adolfo Quiñones, widely recognized by his stage name Shabba Doo, was born on May 11, 1955, and has made significant contributions to the arts as an American actor, dancer, choreographer, and director. As a pivotal member of The Original Lockers, alongside notable figures like Toni Basil and Fred "Rerun" Berry, he was instrumental in the creation of the locking dance style, which became a hallmark of street dance culture.

Quiñones achieved widespread fame for his portrayal of Ozone in the iconic 1984 film Breakin' and its sequel, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. He also directed and starred in the film Rave - Dancing to a Different Beat, showcasing his multifaceted talent.

In addition to his film work, Quiñones made notable guest appearances on popular television shows such as The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, Married... with Children, and Miami Vice. He has contributed his choreography skills to many prominent artists, including Lionel Richie, Madonna, and Luther Vandross, serving as the lead choreographer for Madonna's Who's That Girl Tour in 1987. More recently, he took on the role of choreographer for Jamie Kennedy's MTV sitcom, Blowin' Up, and created the choreography for Three Six Mafia's Oscar-winning performance of "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" at the 78th Academy Awards.

Quiñones also appeared in the music video for Chaka Khan's hit "I Feel for You," further solidifying his impact on the entertainment industry.
