Laura Jane Grace

Laura Jane Grace, born on November 8, 1980, is a prominent American musician recognized as the founder, lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for the punk rock group Against Me!. In addition to her work with Against Me!, she leads the band Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, which she established as a solo endeavor in 2016. Grace made headlines in May 2012 when she became one of the first openly transgender figures in the punk rock scene, significantly impacting both the music industry and LGBTQ+ representation.

In 2020, she released her debut solo studio album, *Stay Alive*, showcasing her evolution as an artist. This was followed by her sophomore album, *Hole in My Head*, which is set to release in 2024.
