Tim Chizmar
Timothy Charles Chizmar, a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Communications, has carved a remarkable niche in the writing world. His diverse portfolio includes contributions to renowned magazines and websites such as Fangoria and First Comics News, along with numerous short stories published in collections like Chicken Soup for the Soul. Tim's talent extends to screenwriting for Hollywood, where he has penned scripts for various production companies, often working behind the scenes as a ghostwriter for some of the industry's biggest names.
A dedicated member of several writers' organizations, including The California Writers Club and the Writers Guild of America, he also co-founded the Las Vegas chapter of the Horror Writers Association. A highlight of his career came with his collaboration alongside iconic author Clive Barker in the Bram Stoker Award-winning anthology, ITS ALIVE: Bringing Your Nightmares to Life, published by Crystal Lake Press.
Tim’s creativity isn't confined to horror; he has also worked with major networks such as ABC, FOX, Showtime, and NBC, producing television pilots including a comedy/action series for CMT featuring wrestling star Rob Van Dam. His film credits include Unchained, starring Eric Roberts, and The Year of Laughing Dangerously. As a comedian, Tim has headlined at venues like The World Hollywood IMPROV and shared stages with legends such as Jeff Foxworthy and Gabriel Iglesias. Actively participating in events like San Diego Comic-Con, he continues to inspire fellow writers while consistently pursuing new creative endeavors.
