Leah Ayres

Leah Ayres, born on May 28, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, is an accomplished American actress celebrated for her diverse contributions to film and television. She gained prominence in the early 1980s for her portrayal of Valerie Bryson on the popular soap opera, The Edge of Night. Ayres is perhaps best recognized for her role in the martial arts classic Bloodsport, where she starred alongside action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme. Additionally, she took on the character of Marcia Brady in The Bradys, a 1990 dramatic revival of the iconic series The Brady Bunch, stepping in for Maureen McCormick.

Beyond her acting career, Ayres is also noted for her work in children's educational programming. As Leah Kalish, she served as the Program Director for Yoga Ed. in Los Angeles and co-created the Yoga Kit for Kids. Her contributions extend to authoring Games for Life, which features engaging games and visualizations aimed at children.
