Jeff Speakman, a native of Chicago, Illinois, distinguished himself early on as an exceptional athlete, achieving All-American status in springboard diving during his high school years. Remarkably, he accomplished this feat without the guidance of a coach, shattering records in both his district and conference. Driven by a desire for higher education, Jeff dedicated six years to his studies, ultimately graduating with honors from Missouri State College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology.

In addition to his academic achievements, Speakman is a highly skilled martial artist, holding 6th-degree black belts in both Japanese Goju-Ryu and American Kenpo Karate. He is the founder and director of the American Kenpo Karate Systems (AAKS), an international organization boasting over 50 schools dedicated to the discipline. His contributions to martial arts were recognized in 1993 when he was honored as "Instructor of the Year" by the Black Belt Hall of Fame.

Although Jeff has only pursued acting for the last decade, his commitment to mastering new skills mirrors his approach to martial arts and education. With a unique blend of athletic prowess, academic excellence, and martial arts expertise, Jeff Speakman continues to inspire others in both the physical and artistic realms.
