Nick Groff

Nicholas "Nick" Groff, born on April 19, 1980, is a prominent American paranormal investigator, producer, musician, and television personality. He gained significant recognition as a co-investigator, executive producer, editor, and cameraman for the hit series *Ghost Adventures*, where he contributed from seasons 1 through 10. Additionally, Groff took on the role of lead investigator for the reality series *Paranormal Lockdown*, which aired on Destination America.

Growing up in New England, Groff developed a fascination with the paranormal at a young age, fueled by his love for horror movies and personal experiences that sparked his curiosity. His profound interest in the supernatural intensified after a near-death experience, which he believes heightened his sensitivity to otherworldly phenomena.

After relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, Groff pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). During his college years, he became engaged to his high school sweetheart, Veronique Roussel, who also participated in his early paranormal explorations. A chance meeting with Zak Bagans, who DJed at their wedding, led to the formation of the Ghost Adventures Crew alongside Aaron Goodwin.

In 2004, Groff and his team embarked on a journey to create *Ghost Adventures: The Original Documentary*, which ultimately attracted the attention of producers and launched the successful *Ghost Adventures* television series in 2008. Beyond television, Groff has ventured into various creative projects, including his clothing line, the "Phantom Collection," and his autobiographical book, *Chasing Spirits: The Building of the Ghost Adventures Crew* (2012). As a musician, he released two albums in 2012, *The Other Side* and *Spiritual War: Good vs Evil*.
