Anthony T. Montgomery, born on June 2, 1971, is a distinguished American actor known for his captivating role as Ensign Travis Mayweather in the UPN science fiction series Star Trek: Enterprise, which is part of the acclaimed Star Trek franchise. Hailing from a musical lineage as the grandson of jazz legend Wes Montgomery, he pursued his passion for performance by earning a degree in theater and drama from Ball State University.

After completing his studies, Montgomery briefly dabbled in stand-up comedy before relocating to California, where he made his film debut in the horror comedy Leprechaun: In the Hood (2000). He gained further recognition with a recurring role on the series Popular prior to joining the cast of Star Trek: Enterprise in 2001.

In 2004, he returned to the stage in Los Angeles, producing and starring in the play Dutchman by LeRoi Jones, while also reviving his stand-up career. Montgomery has actively participated in charitable theater fundraisers in Indiana and lent his voice to the character helmsman Geoff Corin in the video game Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (1997).

Beyond acting, he has produced a music CD titled What You Know About..., featuring tracks inspired by Star Trek. An avid martial artist, Montgomery studies Hapkido and Koga Ryu Ninjutsu. He expanded his artistic repertoire with the release of his hip-hop album A.T. in November 2008. Montgomery also appeared in the 2007 film I'm Through with White Girls and had a guest role in the Fox series House in 2009.
