Desmond Edwards was born in 1972 in Stoke on Trent, England, where he experienced a joyful working-class upbringing until tragedy struck with the loss of his mother when he was just 11 years old. Pursuing a sense of purpose, Des joined the army at a young age, serving in various conflict zones including Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Cyprus, and the Middle East. After a distinguished military career, he transitioned to civilian life in late 2004 and settled in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Des began exploring his passion for acting, appearing in numerous short films throughout the U.K. His dedication to the craft led him to enhance his training further in early 2018.
