Brendon Burns is an Australian stand-up comedian and author renowned for his provocative performances, primarily in the United Kingdom. He first gained recognition on Channel 4's late-night comedy show, The 11 O'Clock Show, which launched his television career. Burns has made memorable appearances as a presenter on ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW!, though he famously exited the show after just three episodes. His television portfolio also includes hosting stand-up masterclasses on ITV and contributions to ITV2's Comedy Cuts.

Burns made his debut at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1996, where he showcased new talent as the host of The Comedy Zone and presented his first solo show, 6pm Time To Get Up For Work. Since then, he has been a regular at the festival, winning the coveted if.comedy award in 2007 for his show So I Suppose This Is Offensive Now. That same year, he collaborated with Adam Hills and Sammy J in a theatrical adaptation of Breaker Morant.

His trilogy, Burnsy versus Brendon, performed at the Fringe from 2004 to 2006, chronicled his personal struggles, including a mental health crisis and subsequent rehabilitation. In June 2010, he was a guest on The Green Room with Paul Provenza and published his first semi-autobiographical novel, "Fear of Hat Loss in Las Vegas," with Transworld. In 2014, he launched The Brendon Burns Show podcast, featuring a blend of interviews and stand-up, including a captivating travelogue series with his son Luke across the Australian outback.
