Sir Demis Hassabis (born 27 July 1976) is a prominent British artificial intelligence (AI) researcher and entrepreneur. He serves as the chief executive officer and co-founder of Google DeepMind and Isomorphic Labs, in addition to being a key adviser to the UK Government on AI matters. In 2024, Hassabis, alongside John M. Jumper, received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their groundbreaking work in AI-driven protein structure prediction.

A Fellow of the Royal Society, Hassabis has garnered numerous prestigious accolades for his contributions to AI research, including the Breakthrough Prize, the Canada Gairdner International Award, and the Lasker Award.
