Jeff Hiller
Jeff Hiller is a talented American actor and comedian renowned for his captivating performance as Joel in the acclaimed series *Somebody Somewhere*, which garnered a Peabody Award. He also made a memorable appearance as Mr. Whitely in the chilling *American Horror Story: NYC*.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Hiller completed his education at Texas Lutheran University, graduating in 1998. His journey in comedy began in 2001 when he joined the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where he showcased his improvisational skills with teams like People People, The Scam, Creep, Rumpleteaser, and Police Chief Rumble. Over the next decade, he also dedicated time to teaching improv.
Hiller's television career features notable roles in a variety of series, including *Guiding Light*, *Ugly Betty*, *30 Rock*, *Law & Order: Criminal Intent*, *Psych*, *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt*, and *Community*. His film credits include *Morning Glory* and *Ghost Town*. His portrayal of John Quincy Adams in the rock musical *Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson* received considerable acclaim. In 2018, he stepped into Drew Droege's solo show *Bright Colors and Bold Patterns* off-Broadway, directed by Michael Urie.
Continuing his impressive trajectory, Hiller reprised his role as Joel in *Somebody Somewhere* from 2022 to 2024, and he is set to take on the character Mr. McQueen in the 2025 revival of *Urinetown*.
