Juani Feliz is a talented actress whose journey began in the Dominican Republic and flourished in the Bronx. Her passion for acting ignited at just 14 years old when she participated in her first school play, leading to her first television and film roles a year later. However, she diverted her focus to academics, attending Harvard College to study Biomedical Engineering. After graduating, she joined the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, contributing to a melanoma vaccine clinical trial and developing innovative biomaterials and drug delivery systems, all while completing her Master’s degree at Harvard.

Despite her promising career in bioengineering, Juani felt a strong pull back to the acting world. She made her return to New York City in 2016 and quickly found her footing in the industry. Her impressive film credits include appearances in "The Purge: Election Year" and "Canal Street," along with notable television roles in "Blue Bloods," "Power," and "Shades of Blue." Juani was also selected for the prestigious 2017 ABC Discovers: NY Talent Showcase.

Currently, she shines as Alejandra Lopez in FX's "Fleishman Is In Trouble," Carmen in Ava DuVernay's HBO Max series "DMZ," and Isabela in Amazon's "Harlem." Juani's recent projects include the indie thriller "Birthrite" and the upcoming A24 film "Civil War." Her performances have gained recognition across Latin America, evidenced by her nomination for the 2023 "Best Actor/Actress Abroad" at the Premios Soberano and her inclusion in People en Español's "50 Most Beautiful" list. Juani aims to break stereotypes of Latina women through her roles and inspire others to pursue their dreams against all odds.
