Meng Jia, popularly known as Jia, is a multi-talented Chinese artist renowned for her roles as a singer, dancer, model, and actress. A graduate of Seoul Comprehensive Arts Practical School, she gained prominence as a member of the girl group MISS A under JYP Entertainment.

Initially, JYP aimed to create a Chinese counterpart to the successful WONDER GIRLS, leading to Jia's inclusion in the new ensemble. The group initially garnered attention with their collaboration with Samsung Electronics, releasing the commercial track "Love Again." Following several lineup adjustments, they moved to South Korea to prepare for their official debut.

In July 2010, Jia made her mark as the main rapper, lead dancer, and vocalist of MISS A, launching their career with the EP "Bad But Good." The title track, "Bad Girl Good Girl," made history by becoming the first song from a debut group to top the Gaon Digital Chart, and it achieved remarkable commercial success.

Despite receiving acclaim for subsequent releases and growing in popularity, MISS A entered an indefinite hiatus in March 2015 after promoting their EP "Colors." In May 2016, Jia chose not to renew her contract with JYP, pivoting to a solo career in China. Her solo debut came in November 2016 with the single album "Jia." After a brief tenure with Banana Culture Entertainment, she founded her own label, Meng Jia Studio, to further her artistic pursuits in both music and acting.
