Christina Milian
Christina Milian, originally named Christine Marié Flores, was born on September 26, 1981, in the United States. She has made a name for herself as a singer, actress, dancer, and model.
At the age of 13, Christina relocated to Los Angeles with aspirations of becoming an actress. By 17, she had started penning songs to secure a record deal. Over the years, she has released three studio albums and is in the process of creating her fourth, which is expected to debut in 2011. Her self-titled first album came out in 2001, yielding popular tracks such as "AM to PM" and "When You Look at Me," both of which hit the top three on the UK Singles Chart. Her follow-up album, It's About Time (2004), featured her first major US hit, "Dip It Low." The third album, So Amazin' (2006), included the single "Say I." Shortly after this album's release, she parted ways with Island Records due to creative differences and signed with Interscope Records in 2009, planning to launch her album Elope. The ballad "Us Against the World" was released as a single in October 2008.
While her music career is well-known, Christina initially pursued acting. Her first prominent role was in the 2003 film Love Don't Cost a Thing, followed by significant parts in Be Cool and the horror movie Pulse. She also appeared in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and led the straight-to-DVD release Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, along with various TV movies.
On September 4, 2009, she eloped with R&B singer-songwriter The-Dream in Las Vegas. They welcomed their daughter, Violet, on February 26, 2010, but announced their separation a few months later, on July 12, 2010.
