Finn Kvalem

Finn Kvalem made his theatrical debut at Det Norske Teatret in 1955, where he remained a prominent figure from 1956 until 1969. He then transitioned to Nationaltheatret, contributing his talents from 1969 to 1975, before returning for another stint in 1985. His versatility also led him to work with Fjernsynsteatret between 1975 and 1979, and he served as the director of Telemark Teater from 1982 to 1984.

Kvalem is particularly remembered for his compelling portrayal of Vidkun Quisling in Stein Ørnhøi's docudrama "Et liv – en rettssak," which aired in 1988. His career was not limited to the stage; he also appeared in several Norwegian films, showcasing his range as an actor.

In addition to his acting career, Kvalem held a significant leadership role as the president of the Norwegian Actors' Union from 1974 to 1976, advocating for the rights and interests of performers. His contributions to the arts, both on and off the stage, have left a lasting impact on the Norwegian theatrical landscape, making him a respected figure in the industry.
