Finn Kvalem made his theatrical debut at Det Norske Teatret in 1955, where he remained a prominent figure from 1956 until 1969. His versatility also led him to work with Fjernsynsteatret between 1975 and 1979, and he served as the director of Telemark Teater from 1982 to 1984.
