**Biography of Jaycie Dotin**

Jaycie Dotin is an accomplished American actress who has made Vancouver, British Columbia her creative home. Born in Akron, Ohio, she demonstrated a passion for performance from a young age, captivating her family with impromptu shows on her living room coffee table at just three years old. Her artistic journey was significantly influenced by her father, Richard Dotin, a former lead vocalist and keyboardist for the Billboard Award-nominated disco group LaFlavour.

Jaycie honed her skills through years of training in local theaters and performing arts programs, including notable mentorship at Theatre 8:15. She later pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Wright State University. Her talent quickly caught the eye of industry professionals, leading her to a role as a lead vocalist for Holland America Cruise Lines, and subsequent performances with Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises, where she notably backed Adrian Zmed.

Her career took a thrilling turn when she starred in "Donn Arden's: Jubilee" at Bally's on the Las Vegas Strip. Afterward, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she launched a successful commercial career, working with major brands like Clorox and Crayola. Jaycie gained critical acclaim with a nomination for a Los Angeles Ovation Award for her portrayal of Brooke Wyndham in "Legally Blonde the Musical."

She continued to build her resume with the Broadway National Tour of "Jersey Boys" as Loraine and later transitioned to television in Vancouver. There, she collaborated with renowned directors such as Marc Webb on the CBS pilot "Republic of Sarah," J.D. Dillard on "The Twilight Zone," and Christina Voros in a recurring role on ABC's "Big Sky."

With over 28 film and television credits to her name, numerous commercial campaigns, and a current project co-writing her first feature screenplay, Jaycie credits her success to her supportive family, beloved dog, and a steady supply of snacks.
