Kate Bryan

Kate Bryan is a prominent British art historian, curator, and broadcaster, known for her dynamic contributions to the art world. In 2016, she took on the pivotal role of head of collections at Soho House, overseeing its global art initiatives. Bryan has gained recognition as the host of Sky Arts' Inside Arts, a series she began presenting in 2019. Prior to that, she created and hosted the weekly program Galleries on Demand, which aired in 2016 on Sky Arts.

As a judge on the popular Sky Arts competition Artist of the Year, she has played a significant role in promoting contemporary artistry alongside well-known figures like Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell. Her expertise has also been showcased in various esteemed programs, including The Culture Show on BBC2, where she contributed significantly and presented a special feature on Chinese painting in 2013.

In 2016, she was the face of The Mystery of the Lost Caravaggio, which was also broadcast in Italy as Operazione Caravaggio. Additionally, Bryan has lent her insights to programs covering influential artists, such as Dante's Inferno and Artemisia Gentileschi: Painting to Survive. Her live broadcasts from Tate Modern and Tate Britain, including the Picasso 1932 exhibition and Van Gogh and Britain, further exemplify her influential presence in the arts community.
