Josh Ruben
Joshua Benjamin Ruben, born on June 30, 1983, is a celebrated actor, writer, and director renowned for his work in the film and television industry. His feature film "SCARE ME," in which he starred alongside Aya Cash and Chris Redd, premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2020 after being acquired by Shudder, AMC's horror streaming platform, prior to its debut. In television, Josh has directed sketches for "The Late Late Show" with James Corden and contributed to TruTV's "Adam Ruins Everything."
As a commercial director, he has led numerous campaigns for high-profile clients such as Geico and Comedy Central, including a notable recent initiative for DiGiorno pizza featuring comedian Jay Pharoah. Ruben is also a founding member of CollegeHumor's "Originals" department, where he directed and performed in countless comedic shorts, collectively garnering billions of views.
In addition to his directorial work, he recently directed and appeared in all ten episodes of the Funny or Die and Spotify narrative podcast "The Last Degree of Kevin Bacon."
