Vaani Kapoor

Vaani Kapoor is a prominent Indian actress and model, hailing from Delhi. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University and gained early professional experience through an internship at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. This initial foray into the professional world led her to a successful modeling career with Elite Model Management.

Kapoor’s acting journey began in 2009 when she landed a significant role in the Sony TV series Specials @ 10, portraying the character Rajuben. This pivotal moment opened doors for her in the film industry, and she soon signed a three-film contract with the prestigious Yash Raj Films.

She made her film debut in 2013 with the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, which was both a critical and commercial success. Her performance earned her widespread acclaim, culminating in the Best Female Debut award at the 59th Filmfare Awards. In 2014, she expanded her horizons by entering the South Indian cinema with the romantic comedy Aaha Kalyanam, where her portrayal of the lead female role was well-received.
