Sergio Pablos is a renowned Spanish animator whose illustrious career began at Disney Studios in Paris before he transitioned to the Burbank location. Early in his journey, Pablos had the opportunity to work alongside industry veterans, contributing to significant characters such as Frollo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" under the guidance of Kathy Zielinski, and Hades in "Hercules" with Nik Ranieri. Notably, he served as the character designer and supervising animator for Tantor the elephant in "Tarzan," a role that showcased his creative prowess.
Pablos's subsequent work included supervising the character Doctor Doppler in "Treasure Planet," a project he felt had potential but wasn't entirely satisfied with due to the character's unusual design.
