Thea Marabut

Thea Marabut is an accomplished theater artist and educator, having honed her skills at the Philippine High School for the Arts, where she focused on Theater Arts. She furthered her education at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a concentration in Speech Communication.

Throughout her career, Thea has collaborated with various esteemed theater companies, including Tanghalang Pilipino, Kids Acts Philippines, My Talent, and Sipat Lawin Inc. Her passion for the performing arts is evident not only in her performances but also in her commitment to teaching. She has successfully conducted acting workshops for both children and adults, as well as community theater and storytelling sessions across numerous provinces and schools throughout the Philippines.

Presently, Thea serves as a senior teacher at Third World Improv, the first institution in the Philippines solely focused on the craft of improvisational theater. Her contributions to the arts have had a lasting impact on the community, fostering a love for performance in students of all ages. With a dedication to nurturing the next generation of artists, Thea continues to inspire others with her expertise and enthusiasm for theater.
