Mohamed Farag
Mohamed Farag, born in 1982, is a prominent Egyptian actor known for his versatile performances in film and television. Initially enrolled at the High Cinema Institute, he transitioned to studying commerce at Cairo University. However, his passion for acting led him to participate in Khaled Galal’s acting workshop at Cairo's Creativity Center.
Farag first gained significant attention in 2009 when he performed in the successful stage play “Ahwa Sada” (Black Coffee), which received praise from both audiences and critics. This early success paved the way for him to take on supporting roles in several popular television series and films, such as “Elrahina” (The Hostage) and “Alf Mabrook” (Congratulations), where he starred alongside the well-known actor Ahmed Helmy.
His career took a notable turn in 2013 when he landed his first leading role in the action-packed film “El Qashah” (The Sweeper), showcasing his talent and solidifying his place in the Egyptian film industry. With a growing body of work and a commitment to his craft, Mohamed Farag continues to captivate audiences and establish himself as a significant figure in contemporary Egyptian cinema.
