Luke Grimes
Luke Timothy Grimes, born on January 21, 1984, is an accomplished American actor and musician, best known for his diverse roles on both the big and small screens. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Navy SEAL Marc Alan Lee in the critically acclaimed film "American Sniper" (2014). Additionally, he played Elliot Grey, the brother of Christian Grey, in the "Fifty Shades" film series, including "Fifty Shades of Grey" (2015) and its sequels "Fifty Shades Darker" (2017) and "Fifty Shades Freed" (2018). Grimes has also made a significant impact on television as Kayce Dutton in the hit Paramount Network drama series "Yellowstone," which aired from 2018 to 2024.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Grimes was raised in a Pentecostal family and graduated from Dayton Christian High School in 2002. He pursued his passion for acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. His career includes notable performances in films like "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane," "War Eagle, Arkansas," and the series "Brothers & Sisters," where he portrayed Ryan Lafferty.
In addition to his acting career, Grimes made his musical debut with the single "Burn—Live From Nashville" in January 2024, followed by his self-titled debut album, released on March 8, 2024. Grimes married Brazilian model Bianca Rodrigues Grimes in November 2018, and they welcomed their first child in 2024.
