Kieran Bew

Kieran Bew is a prominent English actor celebrated for his diverse roles across both television and film. He has gained recognition through his performances in notable TV series such as *Da Vinci's Demons*, *The Street*, and *Warrior*. His film credits include *Hans Christian Andersen: My Life as a Fairytale* and *Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands*.

Born in Hartlepool, England, in 1980, Bew pursued his passion for acting by studying drama at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), from which he graduated in 2001. He launched his career in British theatre, showcasing his talent in acclaimed productions like *The Crucible* and *Richard II*.

Bew's breakthrough television role occurred in 2006 when he portrayed Gary Parr in the BAFTA Award-winning series *The Street*. He subsequently appeared in several other high-profile series, including *Da Vinci's Demons*, *The Borgias*, and *The Musketeers*.

In 2019, he took on the role of Ah Sahm in the Cinemax series *Warrior*, inspired by an original idea from the legendary Bruce Lee, where he depicted a Chinese immigrant who rises to power in San Francisco's Chinatown.

A skilled stage performer, Bew has graced the stages of Shakespeare's Globe, the Old Vic, and the Royal National Theatre. Currently, he is filming for the highly anticipated HBO series *House of the Dragon*, where he will portray Hugh Hammer, a knight of the Kingsguard.
