Onur Tuna, born on July 2, 1985, in Çanakkale, hails from a family with diverse roots; his mother is of Turkish descent, having immigrated from Thessaloniki, Greece, while his father serves as a mathematics teacher. Tuna pursued his higher education at Dokuz Eylu University, where he studied economics, and also explored his passion for music at Ege University's Conservatory, specializing in Turkish classical music. An accomplished musician, he has written and performed two songs, "Acın Verdi" and "Tıpkı Sen," and is skilled in playing the guitar.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Tuna excelled in athletics, participating in volleyball and basketball during his school years. His theatrical journey began in middle school and continued into high school, eventually leading him to work as a professional model for four years while studying acting at the Izmir Müjdat Gezen Art Center. After relocating to Istanbul, he enhanced his craft through private lessons focusing on method acting and camera techniques under the guidance of notable mentors such as Ümit Çırak and Ayla Algan.

Tuna's acting career took off in 2011 with the Turkish series "Hayat Devam Ediyor" (Life Goes On). He has since appeared in several popular television dramas, including "Huzur Sokağı," "Filinta," "Cesur Yürek," "Yasak Elma," and "Mucize Doktor." His film credits include the drama "Bi Küçük Eylül Meselesi" and the lead role in "Ağır Romantik."
