Shad Moss
Shad Gregory Moss, widely recognized as Bow Wow, was born on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio. An influential figure in the entertainment industry, he first gained fame as a rapper at the tender age of 13 under the moniker Lil' Bow Wow. His debut album, *Beware of Dog*, was released in 2000, marking the beginning of a successful music career. He followed this up with his sophomore album, *Doggy Bag*, in 2002, at which point he transitioned to the name Bow Wow.
In addition to his musical accomplishments, Moss ventured into acting, making his film debut with a cameo in *All About the Benjamins* (2002). His breakout role came shortly after in *Like Mike*, where he played the lead character. He continued to build his filmography with significant roles in *Johnson Family Vacation* (2004) and *Roll Bounce* (2005), along with a supporting role in *The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift* (2006).
Moss's versatility as an actor was evident in his later works, which included *Hurricane Season* (2009), *Lottery Ticket* (2010), and *Madea's Big Happy Family* (2011). He also appeared in the *CSI: Cyber* series starting in 2015 and became a recognizable face on the reality show *Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta* from 2017. His return to the *Fast & Furious* franchise in 2021 for the film *F9* reaffirmed his enduring presence in both music and film.
