Sakina Samo embarked on her artistic journey in Pakistan's regional television and radio dramas, where she honed her craft before making a significant impact on the national stage. Her pivotal role in the acclaimed social drama *Dewarain*, which addresses the harrowing issue of honor killings, marked a turning point in her career, establishing her as a prominent character actress and earning her the first of many best actress nominations.
