Hiromasa Yonebayashi, commonly known as Maro, was born in 1973 in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. He is a prominent animator and director associated with the renowned Studio Ghibli. Yonebayashi made a significant mark in the animation industry when he directed his first feature film, *The Borrower Arrietty*, which premiered in 2010. This achievement made him the youngest director in the history of Studio Ghibli, showcasing his exceptional talent at an early age.
