Fernanda Torres
Fernanda Pinheiro Torres, born on September 15, 1965, in Rio de Janeiro, is a multifaceted Brazilian talent known for her work as an actress, writer, columnist, and screenwriter. She hails from a distinguished family in the entertainment industry, being the daughter of acclaimed actress Fernanda Montenegro and actor Fernando Torres.
At just 20 years old, she earned the prestigious Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival in May 1986 for her role in Arnaldo Jabor's film "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar."
Fernanda is married to Andrucha Waddington, a film director and producer who notably directed both her and her mother in the acclaimed 2005 movie "The House of Sand." The couple shares two sons, Joaquim, born in 2000, and Antônio, who was born on April 10, 2008. Additionally, she is the stepmother to two sons, João, born in 1993, and Pedro, born in 1995.
