Chris Marrone, a former football player for the University of Georgia, has transitioned seamlessly into the world of acting, earning recognition for his performances in notable productions such as *Westworld*, *The Vampire Diaries*, *The Internship*, and *The Girl in the Backseat*. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Chris was inspired by his parents, both of whom had careers in the performing arts—his father an accomplished actor across stage, television, and film, and his mother a talented musical theater performer.

From a young age, Chris was captivated by storytelling and filmmaking, influenced by the narratives shared by his parents about their experiences in the entertainment industry. His athletic journey saw him excel on the football field throughout high school and into college, culminating in his tenure at the University of Georgia from 2008 to 2010.

After wrapping up his college football career, Chris received a pivotal call from Coach Van Halanger, who informed him of a casting director seeking authentic football players with acting potential. Taking a bold step, Chris auditioned in Atlanta, where casting director Shay Griffin recognized his innate talent and encouraged him to pursue acting. This led to his first role in the NBC film *Field of Vision*, solidifying his passion for the craft.

Over the last decade, Chris has built an impressive resume in film and television, recently completing his debut feature film, *The Girl in the Backseat*, which he wrote, produced, and starred in, marking a significant milestone in his artistic journey.
