Denise Burse

Denise Burse-Mickelbury, born on January 13, 1952, is a talented American actress celebrated for her portrayal of Claretha Jenkins in the popular television show, Tyler Perry's House of Payne. Hailing from Atlanta, Burse honed her craft through professional training at esteemed institutions like the Just Us Theatre, The Alliance Theatre, and The Atlanta Children's Theater.
