Haruka Kuroda (黒田 はるか, Kuroda Haruka) is a talented Japanese actress and presenter renowned for her multifaceted career in entertainment. From 2000 to 2017, she lent her voice to Noodle, the iconic character from Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's innovative virtual band, Gorillaz. Kuroda not only provided Noodle's speaking voice but also showcased her musical talents by performing backing vocals and playing guitar during the Phase One tour—correcting the common misconception that Miho Hatori was the sole performer.

Beyond her work with Gorillaz, Kuroda has made significant contributions to various media. She collaborated with JC Connington's rock band JUNKSTAR on the track "Going Nowhere" and appeared in several BBC productions, including "Ideal" and "Jonathan Creek." Her filmography features notable projects such as "Foster," "Swinging with the Finkels," and "One Minute Past Midnight," which earned accolades as the short film of the year at the 2005 Chicago Film Festival.

In 2005, Kuroda hosted the children's gaming show "PXG," where she voiced the character 'Game Girl.' Additionally, she has extensive experience as a voice-over artist, notably voicing the Solar Empire empress in the GameCube title "Battalion Wars."

Kuroda, who moved to England in 1992, graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2000. A skilled martial artist, she holds expertise in Sanjuro and teaches in London. More recently, she has served as an Intimacy Coordinator and dialect coach on various high-profile projects, working with acclaimed talents such as Alicia Vikander and Sidse Babette Knudsen.
