Leslie Grossman

Leslie Erin Grossman, born on October 25, 1971, is a talented American actress celebrated for her memorable performances, particularly as Mary Cherry in the cult classic television series Popular and as Lauren in the sitcom What I Like About You.

Raised in Los Angeles, California, Grossman began her acting journey as a member of the cast on Kids Incorporated during her childhood. Her passion for theater flourished at Crossroads School, where she took on the role of director for various plays. She later pursued her acting aspirations at Sarah Lawrence College, where she honed her craft in her final year.

In her career, Grossman made a significant impact with her portrayal of Lauren, a close friend and co-worker of the character Val in What I Like About You. Her film credits include a role in Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, and she made guest appearances on popular shows such as Nip/Tuck, Charmed, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Notably, she starred in Running with Scissors and Itty Bitty Titty Committee in 2006. Before landing the role of Mary Cherry in Popular, she auditioned for two other parts, showcasing her versatility and talent.

Leslie tied the knot with John Bronson in 2000, and the couple shares one child, balancing her family life with a dynamic acting career.
