Barbara Lukešová
Barbara Lukešová is a distinguished Czech actress who completed her studies at the State Conservatory in Prague. Following her graduation, she showcased her talent at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec and later became a prominent member of the Rokoko Theatre in Prague from 1994 to 2001. In addition to her work there, she performed at the Theatre in Celetna and took part in numerous productions at the Rubín Theatre, National Theatre, Prague Municipal Theatres, Divadlo Komedie, and the Theatre in Řeznická.
Lukešová gained international recognition for her role in the Italian film *Brucio nel vento*, which achieved five awards and received 16 nominations. Notably, this production was directed by Silvio Soldini, who was selected to compete for the prestigious Golden Bear at the Berlinale in 2002.
In 2013, she was a strong contender for the Alfréd Radok Award, nominated by theatre critics for Best Actress for her compelling portrayal of "A" in the play *Terminus*, directed by M. Němec. Her proficiency in multiple languages—including English, Russian, and Italian—has enabled her to participate in various international projects, further enhancing her impressive career in the performing arts.
