Michelle Calaway

Michelle Leigh Calaway is an accomplished American professional wrestler renowned for her tenure in WWE. Over her career, she has achieved significant accolades, including being a two-time WWE Divas Champion and a two-time WWE Women's Champion. Before stepping into the wrestling ring, Calaway worked as a middle school teacher in Palatka, Florida. Her journey in WWE began in 2004, when she competed in the WWE Diva Search, which ultimately led to her signing with the company.

Initially, she portrayed a personal trainer, gradually transitioning into a wrestling role. In 2006, she took on a new persona as a teacher, serving as the manager of the tag team known as the Teacher's Pets, comprising K.C. James and Idol Stevens. Her breakout moment came at The Great American Bash in 2008, where she captured the inaugural WWE Divas Championship and held it for nearly five months.

In 2009, she made history by winning the WWE Women's Championship at The Bash, becoming the first female competitor to hold both titles simultaneously. At Night of Champions in 2010, she unified the two championships, earning the distinction of being the first WWE Unified Divas Champion. With four championship reigns to her name, Calaway remains a prominent figure in women's wrestling, celebrated for her contributions to the sport and her groundbreaking achievements.
