Cayla Berejikian is an actress, writer, and teaching artist based in New York City. She honed her acting skills at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and Stonestreet Studios while pursuing her education at New York University, where she majored in psychology and film production. In addition, she has furthered her training at The Barrow Group and HB Studio.
Since late 2021, Cayla has built a diverse portfolio of screen acting credits, participating in numerous independent projects as well as three feature films. Her journey into playwriting began in 2018, and she has since crafted and directed several original plays showcased in various festivals across New York City.
As an evolving artist, Cayla embraces a spirit of playfulness and curiosity that permeates all facets of her life. This outlook shapes her approach as a teaching artist, where she has developed, adapted, and executed drama and screen-acting curricula for children of varying ages. Instead of merely focusing on technical skills, she emphasizes nurturing each child's creative instincts. Her mission is to empower young individuals to enhance their natural curiosity and cultivate self-confidence in their abilities.
