Karan Johar, affectionately known as KJo, is a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, recognized for his multifaceted roles as a director, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, actor, and television host. Born to Hiroo and the esteemed producer Yash Johar, Karan has made a significant mark in Hindi cinema.
He burst onto the scene in 1998 with his directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, a romantic drama that became a massive hit and garnered him the Filmfare Awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay.
