Windell Middlebrooks
Windell Dwain Middlebrooks, Jr. (January 8, 1979 – March 9, 2015) was a talented American actor celebrated for his compelling performances in both television and film. A proud alumnus of Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, he further honed his craft by obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of California, Irvine in 2004.
Middlebrooks gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Dr. Curtis Brimfield on the hit ABC series "Body of Proof," where his character brought a unique blend of humor and professionalism to the role. He also delighted audiences as Kirby Morris on Disney's "The Suite Life on Deck," showcasing his ability to connect with younger viewers. Additionally, Windell made a memorable impact on the beloved medical comedy "Scrubs," playing Captain Duncook, a character that added depth and comedy to the show's narrative.
