Soumendra Bhattacharya

Soumendra Bhattacharya, a prominent figure in Kolkata’s theatrical landscape, is the co-founder of the acclaimed theatre group Mad About Drama. He ventured into the film industry with a notable debut in the Bengali horror thriller *Ludo* in 2015, which set the stage for his burgeoning career. Following this, he showcased his talents in the detective thriller *Byomkesh O Agnibaan* in 2017, further establishing himself as a versatile actor.

In 2018, he ventured into television with the series *Charitraheen*, demonstrating his ability to engage audiences across multiple platforms. His performance in the 2019 horror thriller *Bhoot Chaturdashi*, directed by Shabbir Mallick, marked another significant milestone in his career, as he took on a crucial role that added to his growing portfolio.

Born and raised in Kolkata, Soumendra attended Don Bosco Park Circus, where he initially came across as a reserved individual.
