Trevor Horn

Trevor Charles Horn, CBE, born on July 15, 1949, is a renowned English record producer, songwriter, musician, and vocalist, celebrated for his significant contributions to pop music. Often referred to as "The Man Who Invented the Eighties," Horn's innovative approach redefined the sound of the decade.

Horn's career took off in the late 1970s when he joined the band The Buggles, best known for their hit single "Video Killed the Radio Star," which became the first music video to air on MTV in 1981. This achievement marked a pivotal moment in music history and showcased Horn's groundbreaking production techniques.

Throughout the 1980s and beyond, Horn made a remarkable impact as a producer, working with iconic artists and groups such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood, ABC, and Seal.
