Carmine Appice, born on December 15, 1946, is a renowned American rock drummer celebrated for his work with iconic bands like Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, the supergroup Beck, Bogert & Appice, and alongside legends such as Rod Stewart, King Kobra, and Blue Murder. He is also the elder brother of fellow drummer Vinny Appice. Appice's significant contributions to music earned him induction into the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame in 2013, followed by his recognition in the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2014.

His innovative drumming style has left a lasting impact on a multitude of drummers across various genres, influencing notable musicians such as Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, Joey Kramer from Aerosmith, Queen's Roger Taylor, Phil Collins of Genesis, Neil Peart of Rush, and many others, including Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee and Slayer's Dave Lombardo.
