Adam Douglas Driver, born on November 19, 1983, is an acclaimed American actor celebrated for his versatile performances. He has garnered numerous awards, including the prestigious Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival, along with nominations for a Tony Award, two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globes, four Primetime Emmys, and four SAG Awards. Renowned director Martin Scorsese has praised Driver as "one of the finest, if not the finest" actors of his generation.

Driver's theatrical journey began on Broadway with Mrs. Warren's Profession in 2010, followed by a role in Man and Boy in 2011. He gained widespread recognition through his performance in HBO's comedy-drama Girls from 2012 to 2017, earning three consecutive Emmy nominations. His film career took off with notable roles in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln (2012), Noah Baumbach's Frances Ha (2012), and the Coen Brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis (2013).
