Engy Wegdan
Engy Wegdan is a talented Egyptian actress and film editor who graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2004. She earned a degree in Mass Communication, complemented by double minors in architecture and theater. Wegdan initially embarked on her professional journey as an English instructor at a language institute but soon transitioned to the film industry. In 2004, she took on the role of film editor at Rotana TV, before moving to Dubai to continue her editing career with Elwaha Channel. After a year, she returned to Cairo, where she honed her skills editing music videos, including the popular track "Try" by Hikmat, in addition to working on various advertising campaigns for local agencies.
Wegdan's acting career took off in 2006 when she portrayed Dalia, the sister of Tamer, in the beloved TV series "Tamer and Showkeya." However, she achieved widespread recognition for her dynamic portrayal of Arwah, a clever and spirited lawyer, in the film "H. Dabbour." Her memorable performance led to her reprising the role in a cameo in the subsequent film "Teer Inta." Engy Wegdan's versatility and dedication have made her a prominent figure in the Egyptian entertainment industry, showcasing her talents both behind and in front of the camera.
