**Biography: Robert L. Parker III**

Robert L. Parker III, a talented director and writer, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1972. His passion for storytelling emerged during his high school years, where he honed his literary skills through the study of various texts. Parker has authored several compelling works, including *The Awakening of a Troubled Mind*, *Making It Happen*, and *A Corrupted World*. Following high school, he pursued his education at Shelby State Community College from 2001 to 2003, where he actively engaged in stage performances.

In 2005, Parker shifted his focus to the music industry, managing his son, Christen "Lil Chris" Parker, and facilitating tours alongside major label artists. His family's dynamic was showcased in 2010 when they featured on the popular ABC reality show *Wife Swap*, which gained extensive viewership after being acquired by Lifetime Network.

Despite his foray into music, Parker's true passion lay in filmmaking. He attended the New York Film Academy in New York City, where he cultivated his skills in filmmaking. His debut film, *A Troubled Mind*, received significant distribution through Maverick Entertainment Worldwide. Building on this momentum, he went on to write and release *Moma's Spirit*, currently available, and *The Come Up*, which premiered in theaters in the fall of 2016. His later work, *The Struggle*, was released in 2019, further solidifying his presence in the industry.
