Bethany Kay
Bethany Kay is a versatile performer hailing from New Jersey, where she grew up as the middle child in a suburban environment, conveniently situated between two popular shopping malls. Initially, Bethany considered pursuing a career in psychology, aiming for a PsyD to become a psychotherapist. However, her passion for the performing arts took precedence when she became an Apprentice at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in 2003. During this time, she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Italian on a scholarship at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Bethany's commitment to honing her craft led her to the New School for Drama, where she obtained her Master of Fine Arts degree. There, she studied under the guidance of esteemed instructors including Ron Leibman, Marcia Haufrecht, and Bob LuPone, among others.
Throughout her career, Bethany has made a mark in various artistic realms, excelling as an actor, opera singer, and improviser. Her diverse talents have allowed her to participate in numerous productions, showcasing her range and dedication to the performing arts. With a solid educational background and a wealth of experience, Bethany Kay continues to leave an indelible imprint in the world of theater and beyond.
