Vernon Davis
Vernon Davis, a former NFL Tight End, hails from Washington D.C. He concluded his professional football career in 2020. Davis pursued his college education at the University of Maryland before entering the NFL, where he was chosen as the 6th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2006 draft. His tenure with the 49ers lasted for nine seasons, after which he joined the Denver Broncos for one season. Davis then returned to his roots, playing for the Washington Redskins for four additional seasons. Throughout his career, he earned recognition as a two-time Pro Bowl selection and achieved the pinnacle of success by winning a Super Bowl in 2016 alongside quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
