Robert Logan

Robert F. Logan, Jr. (born May 29, 1941) is a distinguished American actor renowned for his contributions to film and television, particularly in the realm of family adventure cinema during the 1970s. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Logan was the oldest of seven siblings, raised in a household led by his father, a bank executive. His early years were marked by athletic pursuits, and he earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Arizona at Tucson. It was there that a talent scout from Warner Bros. discovered him, setting the stage for his acting career.

Logan gained prominence on television as J.R. Hale, the valet on the popular ABC series 77 Sunset Strip from 1961 to 1963. He took over the role from Edward Byrnes’ character, Kookie, transitioning to a more active investigator in the storyline. Following this success, he starred as Jericho Jones in the series Daniel Boone from 1965 to 1966, where he captivated audiences as a spirited young man embarking on adventures alongside the titular character.

Among his most memorable works are his performances in the Wilderness Family film series, which solidified Logan’s status in family entertainment. His contributions to the industry have left a lasting legacy, making him a cherished figure in American cinema.
