Logan, Jr. (born May 29, 1941) is a distinguished American actor renowned for his contributions to film and television, particularly in the realm of family adventure cinema during the 1970s. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Logan was the oldest of seven siblings, raised in a household led by his father, a bank executive. His early years were marked by athletic pursuits, and he earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Arizona at Tucson. Logan gained prominence on television as J.R. Hale, the valet on the popular ABC series 77 Sunset Strip from 1961 to 1963.
