Walter Sparrow

Walter Leonard Sparrow (January 22, 1927 – May 31, 2000) was a distinguished English actor celebrated for his roles in both film and television. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Duncan in the beloved 1991 film *Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves*, featuring Kevin Costner. Sparrow's journey began in stand-up comedy, but he soon transitioned into dramatic roles, showcasing his talent with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

His cinematic career kicked off in 1965 with *Dr. Terror's House of Horrors*, and he went on to feature in over 30 films throughout his lifetime. One of his memorable roles was as the eccentric porn shop owner Dirty Barry in the popular sitcom *Only Fools and Horses*, which attracted an audience of 16.1 million viewers for the episode "Danger UXD" in 1989.
